SCHARFFEN BERGER Chocolate Liqueur (click for recipe) |
Dry vermouth |
Vodka (kept in freezer) |
Ground SCHARFFEN BERGER 62% Semisweet Dark Chocolate or 70% Bittersweet Dark Chocolate |
Directions
1. Pour 1/4 inch of vermouth, vodka or water into a rimmed saucer. Place 1/4 inch of ground chocolate in a second saucer slightly larger than the rim of the glass.
2. Swirl each glass with a splash of vermouth and pour it out.
3. To create the chocolate rim, dip the rim of the glass in the first saucer, then in the saucer with the ground chocolate.
4. For each drink, pour 2 parts chocolate liqueur to 1 part vodka into a shaker with ice. Shake and pour into the rimmed glass. Serve right away.
